Gordon Aeichele is a professional saxophonist based in Toronto, Ontario. He began his musical career in 1976 touring 50 weeks per year with various pop and show groups.

He continues to work as a full time musician in the Toronto area and has established a solid reputation as a live performer, session player, and teacher.

In January 2017 his first book The Musician’s Path was published, and has been received well by music professionals, teachers, and music students across Canada and the US.

What is The Musician’s Path?

The Musician’s Path covers the most critical factors to consider for those wanting to develop their skill as a musician. Offering strategies and insights that affect real results while remaining approachable to players who have had no formal instruction.

Besides offering effective how-to strategies developed over Gordon’s 40+ years as a musician, Gordon attempts to dispel many false premises in learning music, and discusses the factors that had the biggest impact on his growth as a musician.

The Musician’s Path at it’s core is an overview of evolving as a musician, from concepts that affect the learning process, how to select work and teachers, and effective organized practise routines that produce dramatic results. There’s something for all but the most schooled players.
